AI Assistant Backend
JARVIS can run on Claude (best quality, needs a paid Anthropic key) or on a free local
model via Ollama
— no key, no cost, runs on this machine.
Any model id from openrouter.ai/models — pick one that supports tool calling (most flagship models do).
Sending Email
Lets JARVIS send real email. Needs a Gmail app password, not your
account password — Google rejects that one. Turn on 2-step verification,
then generate one at
myaccount.google.com/apppasswords.
JARVIS always shows you the draft before sending.
Seeing Photos
Attach a photo with 📎 (or drag it onto the chat, or paste it) and JARVIS
looks at it. On Claude this works with no setup. On a local backend it
needs a vision model — your main model keeps handling everything else.
