Get a key at elevenlabs.io. When configured, replaces the system voice automatically.
Clone a voice — point at an audio file on this Mac.

3D Model Generation (Meshy)

Get a key at meshy.ai. Needed for "create a 3D model" — camera scanning itself needs no key.

Web Reading & Search (Firecrawl)

Already works out of the box — Friday can read and search real web pages on Firecrawl's free keyless tier, rate-limited. Add your own free key at firecrawl.dev for higher limits plus site-mapping and structured extraction.

Social Posting (Buffer)

Get a key at publish.buffer.com — Account Settings > API. Lets Friday post to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and anything else you've connected to your Buffer account.

Phrases that switch how Friday behaves, typed or spoken — say any of these any time, no exact wording needed.

Wake Word

"Hey Friday"Once enabled (toggle in the sidebar), say the name any time — even mid-sentence — and Friday starts listening for your command hands-free.

Homework Protocol

"activate homework protocol"Turns it on. Friday focuses only on schoolwork — solving problems fully worked out, reading lecture notes/slides you share — and every other tool goes off-limits until you turn it off.
"turn off homework protocol"Turns it off — also works with "that's enough for today" or similar.
"listen to the lecture"Only while Homework Protocol is on. Transcribes your most recent Voice Memos recording and writes a summary, key points, and detailed notes to a new Google Doc — runs in the background.

Coding Protocol

"activate coding protocol"Turns it on. Real build/fix/app requests now go to a dedicated coding agent (runs free, locally on Ollama) as a tracked background job, instead of Friday attempting it inline.
"turn off coding protocol"Turns it off — "stop the coding agent" and "exit coding protocol" also work.

Autonomous Mode

"activate autonomous mode"Turns it on — "go autonomous" and "run autonomously" also work. Removes the normal per-turn step limit so a big task keeps running in the background until it's genuinely done.
"I'm going to bed"Also turns on Autonomous Mode automatically — no need to say both.

Resuming a Task

"keep going"Continues a multi-step task that paused after hitting its step limit mid-work — nothing was lost, it just needed the word to carry on.

Focus Mode

⚡ Focus Mode buttonSidebar button, not a spoken phrase. Pauses the wake word and holds notifications back until you exit.

3D Object Scanner

A single photo can't become a 3D model — there's no depth in one flat image. Hold the object in front of the camera and rotate it slowly and steadily through a full turn while capturing.
